The TCI is a British Overseas Territory in the northern Caribbean, a chain of low-lying coral islands and cays set in some of the most extraordinary crystal beach water in the world. Grace Bay on Providenciales is consistently ranked among the world's finest beaches — a 12-kilometre arc of powder-white sand and crystal turquoise water, protected by the Caicos Barrier Reef, the third-largest coral reef system on earth.

All boat charters, reef snorkel tours, kayak rentals, activity fees, inter-island transfers, and meals are arranged independently by the traveller and paid directly to local operators. The Turks & Caicos Islands are a British Overseas Territory in the northern Caribbean, comprising two island groups — the Caicos Islands to the west and the Turks Islands to the east — separated by the Turks Island Passage. The islands were originally inhabited by the Lucayan people, a branch of the Arawak-speaking Taino, who arrived from South America over 1,000 years ago. The Lucayans built a sophisticated civilisation across the Bahamas and Turks & Caicos, living from the crystal waters, fishing the reefs, and navigating the Caribbean by canoe. European contact in the late 15th century brought the rapid collapse of the Lucayan civilisation. The TCI's modern population is a blend of African, British, and Caribbean heritage, shaped by centuries of salt raking, fishing, and island life.
The Turks & Caicos Islands sit on the Caicos Bank, a vast shallow-water platform of extraordinary crystal clarity. The Caicos Barrier Reef — the third-largest coral reef system on earth — runs along the northern edge of the Caicos Islands, protecting Grace Bay and creating some of the finest snorkelling and diving in the Caribbean. Chalk Sound National Park is a landlocked turquoise lagoon of extraordinary colour. Grand Turk, the historic capital, sits on the edge of a dramatic underwater wall that drops from 7 metres to over 2,000 metres.
