The BVI is one of the world's great sailing territories, a scattered archipelago of over 60 islands and cays set in the crystal waters of the northeastern Caribbean, where trade winds blow steady and anchorages are sheltered and calm. The Baths on Virgin Gorda are among the most extraordinary natural formations in the Caribbean — a labyrinth of giant granite boulders tumbled by volcanic forces into grottos, pools, and passages that open directly onto crystal water and white sand. Tortola is the largest island and the sailing capital of the BVI, its Road Town harbour lined with charter yachts and its hillsides draped in tropical forest. Norman Island is said to have inspired Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island, and its underwater caves are among the finest snorkel sites in the Caribbean. This 5-day circuit is structured around five water experiences — snorkelling The Baths, sailing Tortola, swimming Virgin Gorda, diving Norman Island, and sailing the sunset coast — each one shaped by the sailing water and the BVI people who built this island territory.
