Every day of this expedition begins at the water's edge — and in Anguilla, the water is the quietest, clearest, and most unhurried in the Caribbean. Anguilla is a 26-square-kilometre British Overseas Territory in the northeastern Caribbean, 8 kilometres north of Sint Maarten, with no cruise ship port, no casino strip, and no high-rise hotels. What it has is 33 beaches — many consistently ranked among the finest in the world — and a water personality that is pure quiet luxury: crystal clear, shallow, warm, and utterly still. Shoal Bay East is the island's defining water experience: a 1.6-kilometre crescent of powdered white sand and turquoise water. Little Bay is a hidden cove accessible only by boat or cliff descent, with some of the finest snorkelling in the Leeward Islands. Sandy Ground is the island's social heart — a salt pond lagoon flanked by beach bars and fishing boats. Meads Bay is the island's luxury sunset beach.
Daylite Digital is an accommodation curator. We secure your hotel or guesthouse across this entire Anguilla circuit — that is what your package price covers. All boat charters, snorkel tours, kayak rentals, activity fees, transfers, and meals are arranged independently by the traveller and paid directly to local operators. The Daylite Ambassador is an optional service, available separately.
Anguilla is a British Overseas Territory in the northeastern Caribbean, part of the Leeward Islands chain. The island was originally inhabited by the Arawak and Carib peoples before European contact. It was colonised by the British in 1650 and remained a British territory through the colonial era. The island's modern identity is rooted in its Afro-Anguillan heritage — the descendants of enslaved Africans who built the island's salt industry, fishing economy, and cultural life.
In 1967, Anguilla famously revolted against federation with St Kitts and Nevis, expelling the police force and declaring independence in what became known as the Anguillian Revolution — one of the most peaceful and determined acts of self-determination in Caribbean history. The island remains a British Overseas Territory today, with a strong sense of Anguillan identity, pride, and quiet dignity. All cultural experiences are arranged independently and paid to local operators at point of service.
