This 9-day expedition gives you the full Kenya — from the energy of Nairobi, Africa's most dynamic capital, through the vast red-dust wilderness of Tsavo National Park — Kenya's largest — to the ancient Swahili city of Mombasa and the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean coast.
Tsavo is home to Kenya's famous red elephants — giants who roll in the red volcanic soil until their skin turns rust-coloured — as well as lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, and over 600 bird species. It is one of Africa's great wilderness areas and far less crowded than the Masai Mara.
Mombasa is one of East Africa's oldest cities — a Swahili port that has traded with Arabia, Persia, India, and China for over a thousand years. Fort Jesus, the old town alleys, and the dhow harbour tell a story that most visitors to Kenya never discover.
